1.Go to a cyber cafe and PRINT IJMB FORM.Then fill the form with capital letters and attach your passport to the designated area on the form. Once you have done that, copy the IJMB account number and make payment of #8,000 to the centre account. 2. After the payment have been made into either of the above accounts, candidate(s)would then scan the teller that was issued by the bank along with the filled registration form.

ABOUT IJMB

Interim MatricuLation Board Examination is a Federal Government Educational Programme that was established, controlled and run by Amadu Bello University, Zaria(ABU). IJMBE is an advanced level educational programme that qualifies a candidate to secure admission into 200 Level in any Nigeria and Foreign Universities through Direct Entry.

Most candidate who failed either in jamb or post ume in the past always do this program and most of them get admission into 200level and meet their colleagues in 200 level. The good news is that a lot of people are entering into the university via IJMB program directly into 200 level because of its relevance. IJMB will allowed you to choose three courses/subjects that are related to what you want to study in the university of your choice.

Advantages IJMB Have Over JAMB And Other Programs

1. The result takes whopping of several years to expire unlike your JAMB that is only for a year.

2. It can be used severally.

3. It is independent of jamb which means it can be done simultanously i.e JAMB and IJMB

4. You will have higher GP in your university as it is going to be divided by 3years and not four years like other JAMB candidates.

Administration

The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) was established in 1976 by the Interim Common Services Agency (ICSA). ICSA itself was established by the government of the old Northern Region of Nigeria to provide educational and social services to the people of the region.

The first Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) was held in 1977 for all students who had undergone the IJMBE post secondary education program in the existing schools of Basic/ Preliminary studies which had replaced the HSCE.Presently IJMB now serve as an Advanced Level Examination which guarantee candidate admission into 200level. The Board is administered by the Institute of Education of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Other members of the board include representatives of various education institutions such as Joint Admission Matriculation Board,Federal University of Technology, Minna. Most People have not heard of the programme IJMB, and it has been rapidly productive originating from the north and spreading to other parts of the country.
